Fisheries Technology and Navigation
The course duration is 3 ½ years in seven semesters. Out of which two semesters will be Industrial Training.
Classes are conducted from Monday to Friday, Class timing: 8.30 AM to 4.00PM
Admission
Total number of seats are 20.
First and Second Semester
Common with regular diploma program ( Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computers, Engg. Graphics)
Third, Fifth and Sixth Semester
All the Engg. Subjects (All the 14 theory subjects & 14 practical subjects done by regular diploma students) will be completed in these semesters.
Fourth and Seventh Semester
Students undergo two spell Industrial Trainings,
December to May (Six months industrial Training Spell I )
June to November ( Six months Industrial Training Spell II),
in two different Industries.
Industrial Training
Industrial Training Spell – I
Students undergo the Industrial Spell – I in their fourth semester in Prawn / Shrimp Culture, Fish Culture, Sea food Processing Plant. Prawn / Shrimp Hatcheries, Ornamental Fish Culture and Marketing in Prawn feed & Chemicals.
Industrial Training Spell – II
Students undergo the Industrial Spell – II in their seventh semester in Prawn / Shrimp Culture, Fish Culture, Sea food Processing Plant. Prawn / Shrimp Hatcheries, Ornamental Fish Culture and Marketing in Prawn feed & Chemicals.
