Mechanical Engineering

Department of Mechanical Engineering offers the following courses
1. Full time Course (Mechanical, Mechanical (Tamil), Mechanical (CAD), Mechanical (Automobile)
2. Sandwich Course (Mechanical (Sandwich))
3. Part time Course (Mechanical)
Syllabus and number of subjects are same for all the three courses.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (English Medium – Full Time)

This course is a 3- year Diploma programme.  Mechanical engineering principles and skills are involved at some stage during the conception, design, development, and manufacture of every human-made object with moving parts. Many innovations crucial to our future will have their roots in the world of mass, motion, forces, and energy—the world of mechanical engineers.

The course provides –hands-on training and theoretical concepts   on industry needed design knowledge, automation, advanced production process, quality checking methods, power engineering, computer integrated manufacturing., Machine mechanisms, Industrial Engineering tools and problem-solving practice. Course also provides Internship training/ Project to get real time experience.
